Well what can I say I recorded in a lot of studios through many many years and this has been one of my favorites. Chad Kells is a microphone genius and his mics come close to the vintage sound, not what I call a clone sound. It actually sounds pure and vintage. I upgraded the mic shockmount to a Telefunken shockmount. The 7 pin xlr microphone cord is also high end quality Telefunken I paid for. It's one of the older made cables which in my opinion sounds the best. I prefer to meet at a music store and I can display this microphone and how incredible it sounds. I do not have spare time to drive all around to everyone's different recording space but I will meet you at a music store and if you need to do a recording and play it back through reference monitors to hear the sound I completely understand.
