**About the Role**
Urban Sky is seeking reliable contractors to support a pilot program launching high-altitude weather balloons twice daily (morning and evening). This is outdoor, hands-on work that requires precision, dependability, and comfort working in varied weather.
**What We’re Looking For**
Good with tools/equipment and detail-oriented
Dependable with strong attendance — launches must happen on time
Able to perform basic computer tasks (logging data, sending updates)
Comfortable working outdoors and lifting up to 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license and daily transportation
**Pay & Terms**
$24 – $32/hour (based on experience & reliability)
Contract position (~199 days, 2 launches per day)
No benefits (independent contractor role); possible per diem/travel support
