Jujubes, also known as Jujuba, Indian jujube, Indian plum, Chinese date, red date, Chinese apple, ber and dunks is a sub-tropical Asian fruit tree and are some of the most drought-tolerant fruiting trees you can grow! They do very well in Tallahassee needing no winter protection. They are pretty trees with glossy, small green leaves that turn yellow in the Fall. The fruit is yellowish-reddish-brown and tastes like an crisp apple initially and gets more soft, sweet and date-like as it darkens. The tree can grow to a height of 30-50 ft.
The trees that are offered are 3 ft ($20), 4 ft ($25), 5 ft ($30), 6 ft ($40) and 7 ft ($50) tall, grafted and in pots. Text only.
