I purchased this laptop last December and haven't had any problems with it. It runs extremely cool and quiet and the aluminum palm rest stays cool and is very durable.
The battery life is absolutely wonderful at around six hours and the fan rarely kicks on, even after hours of use.
The screen is bright, crisp and has no dead pixels. A copy of Windows Vista from Gateway is also included.

I have a Nvidia XFX 6800xt in perfect working conditions for sale for 60$-OBO. The graphic card works great and i was able to play games like WOW and Counter Strike on high settings. It is great for any regular home playing computer and will make other applications run smoother also. The graphic card uses a regular 4pin molex connector for power which means that you dont have to have an adapter to connect it to your power supply. If you were to need it installed at home I would be able to do that also as I understand that some people dont like to do that. I have a PC liquid cooling system that I just removed from my gaming PC that I would like to get rid of. The reservoir and pump are perfect, but I replaced the original tubing because they were damaged, but the new tubing has worked perfectly. Anyway, it works great and will significantly reduce the temperature of your CPU. You can take a look at its specs at the link below, and a quick google search will show that this sells for about $70 brand new. I will give you some new tubing so that you can replace the liquid in it if you want. I have a Compaq Presario 2200 that has a cracked screen. It works fine but the screen is just cracked. I was going to buy a LCD but ended up getting a new laptop. It has MS office and other applications on it, if you want me to remove them tho i will. All the discs that came with it, will come with the laptop. If you think you can fix it, or use it parts or whatever, I would love to get rid of it because its just taking up space. I'm asking $200 OBO

I also have a printer HP Deskjet 3847, that I don't use because I got a new one, so like the laptop its just sitting here taking up space. It works fine, I just got one that does more and works with my digital camera. Mac G3 Wallstreet laptop 192 mb RAM. OS 9.2 with lots of software on it. It has a removable CD Rom and a removable Zip Drive. 2 Zip carts included. It also has a PCMCIA card with Firewire bus on it. AC adapter is included. It has Ethernet and vga ports as well as USB and s-video out.

The only issue with the unit is the hinge that holds the screen is broken. So you have to prop it up. Or you can attach an external vga monitor. Plus due to the age of this computer the battery no longer holds a charge.

I am moving soon and need to let this go. You can buy it an sell it on Ebay for parts if you like and double your investment easy.

Im selling my 4th quarter Gateway M Series Laptop. I bought it new last December in the 4th quarter of the laptop series. The retail value new is $1200. I have a carrying case and the charger for it. But there is 1 problem with the shell. It was recently dropped by my little nephew about a month back and on the left side it is missing a little piece(inquire for pictures). Overall it is a great computer. Runs very fast, and handles game fairly. The reason why it is at $800 is because of the Adobe Master Collection CS3 software, it has every new update Adobe programs on it. The retail of it is $3000.
